Supervised Practice Experience (SPE) Program

The Supervised Practice Experience (SPE) is a regulatory program available to eligible practical nurses previously licensed with the CLPNS or new applicants who meet the educational requirements but do not have current practice hours.

The program includes at least 240 hours of supervised clinical experience in an area of practice mutually agreed upon by the CLPNS, SPE participant and a host organization.  Once an SPE participant completes the program successfully, they become eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan.

Information about cost for this program can be found in the For SPE Participants section.
