Approved Practical Nurse Education Programs

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses (CLPNS) is the regulatory body for practical nursing in the province. It is not a school.

The CLPNS sets the requirements for entry-to-practice for the profession, articulates practice standards for its members and approves practical nurse education programs in Saskatchewan. Educational institutes throughout the province offer approved practical nurse education programs for those seeking to become practical nurses in Saskatchewan.

To register as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Saskatchewan, applicants must graduate from a CLPNS-approved educational institute that grants a diploma in Practical Nursing. The practical nurse education programs listed below have all been approved by the CLPNS.
