Administrative Bylaw Update
At the November 21-22 meeting of Council, the Council made bylaw changes.
5(1) of the Administrative Bylaws was amended to increase the amount of unbudgeted funds the Executive Director can authorize without Council approval from $ 10,000 to $ 20,000. This change was made to better reflect the cost of unbudgeted expenditures more likely to arise while maintaining appropriate financial oversight. Examples of unbudgeted expenditures may include replacement or repair of damaged property or equipment.
A numbering error was identified and corrected in the Fee Bylaws. A corrected version replaced the previous version, but no changes to the fees were made.
